The sentier de grande randonnée 46 links Tours to Toulouse over a total distance of 945 km. It crosses Indre-et-Loire, Indre, Creuse, Corrèze, Lot, Tarn-et-Garonne, Tarn and Haute-Garonne.
The Correze section starts at Lacelle in the north of the Plateau de Millevaches Natural Park, and ends at Turenne, France's most beautiful village, with its superb castle perched on a rocky promontory, offering a 360° panoramic view of the Causse and Quercy landscapes. The route also passes through Treignac, Petite Cité de Caractère nestling in the Massif des Monédières, and Uzerche, Plus Beau Détour de France also known as La Perle du Limousin (the Pearl of the Limousin) because of its many noble houses and towers.
