De Tarr Steps zijn een prehistorische klapbrug over de rivier de Barle. Een typische constructie van een klapbrug, de brug dateert mogelijk uit ongeveer 1000 v.Chr. De stenen platen wegen tot 5 ton per stuk. Volgens de lokale legende zijn ze door de duivel geplaatst om een weddenschap te winnen. De brug is door English Heritage aangewezen als een graad I monument.
