Inverness Castle staat op een klif met uitzicht op de rivier Ness in Inverness, Schotland. De rode zandstenen structuur, die een vroege kasteelachtige stijl vertoont, is het werk van een aantal architecten uit de 19e eeuw. William Burn ontwierp de Sheriff Court, Joseph Mitchell de bastionele ommuurde muren, en Thomas Brown II de District Court, oorspronkelijk gebouwd als een gevangenis. Het is gebouwd op de plaats van een 11e-eeuwse verdedigingsstructuur. Tot 30 maart 2020 herbergde het de Inverness Sheriff Court: dit is nu verhuisd naar het Inverness Justice Centre.
