Southwark of The Borough is een gebied in het Londense bestuurlijke gebied Southwark, in de regio Groot-Londen. Hier is onder meer de markt de Borough Market gelegen.
Sinds 1905 is de kerk in Southwark een kathedraal , dit omdat Southwark een eigen bisdom werd. In de kathedraal is een memoriaal opgericht, naar aanleiding van een ongeluk op de Theems in augustus 1989, waar de plezierboot Marchioness gezonken is, na een botsing met baggerschip Bowbelle.
