Sir Henry Thompson, uroloog van de Royals, verzamelde blaasstenen van zijn klanten. Hij had er een aantal van Leopold I van België en Napoleon II van Frankrijk. Hij gaf zijn collectie aan de Royal College of Surgeons in Londen.
