Snowdon is de hoogste berg in Wales. Hij is beschreven als "waarschijnlijk de drukste berg in Groot-Brittannië." De top staat bekend als Yr Wyddfa. Hij ligt op een hoogte van 1.085 meter (3.560 ft) boven zeeniveau. Als hoogste bergtop in Wales is Snowdon een van de drie bergen die beklommen zijn als onderdeel van de National Three Peaks Challenge.
