De Valley of the Rocks is een droog dal dat parallel aan de kust in Noord-Devon loopt. Het is een populaire toeristische bestemming, beroemd om zijn kudde wilde geiten en om zijn geologie, met goede blootstellingen van de Lynton Beds die tot de oudste Devonische rotsen in Noord-Devon behoren en zeer fossielrijk zijn. Ook opmerkelijk zijn de periglaciale kenmerken die zijn gevormd toen dit gebied aan de rand van de glaciatie lag tijdens de laatste ijstijd. Men gelooft dat het dal zijn bestaan te danken heeft aan de doorsnijding door kusterosie van een vroegere uitbreiding van het dal van de East Lyn River, die nu de zee bij Lynmouth ontmoet.
