De A62 is een belangrijke weg in het noorden van Engeland die tussen de twee grote steden Manchester en Leeds loopt, met een afstand van 38,5 mijl .
De A62 loopt noordoost van de Manchester Binnenringweg door Failsworth en Oldham en vervolgens Saddleworth voordat hij de Pennines bij Standedge oversteekt naar West Yorkshire. Hij gaat verder door Marsden, Slaithwaite, Linthwaite, Huddersfield, Liversedge, Heckmondwike en Birstall. Hij eindigt net voor het stadscentrum van Leeds bij het kruispunt met de A58. Hij heeft primaire status van Manchester tot aan Oldham.
