Het Klooster van de Grote Meteoronen is een Oosters-orthodox klooster dat deel uitmaakt van het kloostercomplex Meteora in Thessalië, Centraal-Griekenland. Het ligt op een rots genaamd Meteora of Platylithos, die 415 meter boven de bodem van de Pineiosvallei uitsteekt.
Emilianos was van 1961 tot 1973 abt van het klooster van de Grote Meteoro, waarna hij naar Simonopetra verhuisde en daar abt werd. Zijn leerling Alexios werd vervolgens van 1973 tot 1976 abt van de Grote Meteoro. In 1976 verhuisde Alexios naar het klooster van Xenophontos.
