Één uitloper van de kalksteenklif vormt hier een natuurlijke steenboog. Die natuurlijke rotsboog is trouwens niet te zien op "oude" videobeelden van enkele jaren geleden. Het gaat hier waarschijnlijk om een recent gevormde stapeling van stenen die gekoppeld is aan het afkalven van de klifkust tijdens een aardbeving. Bermoedelijk is de grote aardbeving van 2015 de oorzaak.
