Noordlaren is een dorp in de gemeente Groningen van de Nederlandse provincie Groningen. Bijzonder is dat het dorp in een andere provincie ligt dan de Drentse plaatsen Zuidlaren en Midlaren ten zuiden ervan. Aan de oostkant wordt het begrensd door het Zuidlaardermeer. Het postcodegebied van het dorp telt 550 inwoners, waarvan 365 inwoners binnen de dorpskom .
