Kollum is een vlecke, een dorp met kleinsteeds karakter in de gemeente Noardeast-Fryslân, in de Nederlandse provincie Friesland. Kollum is gelegen in het noorden van de Friese Wouden. Het dorp ligt ten noordoosten van Drachten, ten zuidoosten van Dokkum en ten zuidwesten van het Lauwersmeer, vlak ten noorden van Buitenpost, halverwege Leeuwarden en Groningen.
