Het Loohuisbos is een natuurgebied ten oosten van het dorp Aalten dat wordt beheerd door Natuurmonumenten. Het ligt in de Achterhoek en is onderdeel van het Nationaal Landschap Winterswijk, een gebied van totaal bijna 22.000 hectare groot. Ook valt het Loohuisbos binnen het Natura 2000 netwerk. Dit is een netwerk van beschermde natuurgebieden binnen het grondgebied van de Europese Unie. Het Loohuisbos heeft op de Archeologische Monumentenkaart de status van “Terrein van archeologische betekenis”. Er ligt namelijk onder de akker vermoedelijk een urnenveld.
