De Dorpskerk dateert van 1652 en is daarmee ook de oudste kerk van De Bilt. Oorspronkelijk stond er op de nok van het dak een torentje waarin de luidklok hing. In 1839 werd dit vervangen doordat er een echte toren tegen de kerk werd aangebouwd.
Sinds de fusie van de Hervormde-, de Gereformeerde- en de Lutherse kerk in 2004 is de dorpskerk in gebruik door de Protestantse Gemeente De Bilt (PKN).
