De brouwerij het Wit Anker is opgericht in 1780 en gestopt in1901 (121 jaar actief geweest)
Het pand is gebouwd in 1780 (Woonhuis met '''Brouwerij het Wit Anker''').
Enkele brouwers waren achtereenvolgens: 1843: A.A. van de Burgh; 1848: J.A. van Aken; 1863: W. Ebeling; 1874-1885: J. Verfürth & co en de laatste brouwer was van 1889-1901: N. van Mierlo.
Huis "Den Anker" voormalige brouwerij. Gevel uit plm 1780 met deur- en poortomlijstingen, deuren met rijke bovenlichten, kroonlijst met consoles en festoenen. Gestuct trappenhuis, gesneden trapbalustrade. Aan de voorzijde nog woonhuisvorm, achter met modern kantoor uitgebreid,
Het pand kwam in 1966 op de monumentenlijst.
