De kerk van de Protestantse (Nederlands Hervormde) gemeenschap in Steenbergen, beter bekend als de Witte Kerk of Protestantse Kerk, is een kerkgebouw, een zogenaamde waterstaatskerk.
Waterstaatskerk is de benaming voor Nederlandse kerkgebouwen die tussen 1824 en 1875 met financiële steun van de landelijke overheid werden gebouwd. Het ontwerp en de bouw van dergelijke kerken was onderhevig aan de goedkeuring en controle door ingenieurs van het ministerie van Waterstaat. In tegenstelling tot wat vaak wordt gedacht is het begrip Waterstaatskerk niet verbonden aan een bepaalde bouwstijl.
De Witte Kerk is met haar Toscaanse halfzuilen, kroonlijst en driehoekig fronton alsmede door de klokkentoren met haar zeshoekige obelisken een schoolvoorbeeld van het neoclassicisme.
