Onder architectuur van Jan Jans werd in 1952 deze kerk gebouwd. De gedrongen toren is 14,20 m hoog. In 1989 werd bij de toren het beeld Gevleugelde Stier van Heleen Levano geplaatst. De stier is de symboolgestalte van de evangelist Lucas, van wie een tekst op de memoriesteen staat. Ten zuiden van de kerk stond vroeger herberg De Landskroon, ten oosten de openbare school en een eindje verder het Evangelisatie -
gebouw. De Oudleuser kom schoof op naar het westen, maar de oude molenstomp herinnert hier nog aan hoe het ooit was.
