Een wirwar van wandelpaden kronkelt door het steile hellingbos van De Dellen. Aan de rand van het bos werp je een blik in de indrukwekkende Curfsgroeve, een oude
mergelgroeve die is teruggegeven aan de natuur. Het bos zelf is vrij open en delen hebben in de lente een lieflijk bloementapijt.
Schrik niet als je oog en oog staat met een van de Galloway-runderen die hier het hele jaar door grazen (houd 25 meter afstand). Zeldzame dieren die hier voorkomen zijn de
kortsnavelboomkruiper, de steenmarter en de hazelmuis.
