Dit kruis dat onderhouden wordt door de bewoners van de hoeve Bungartshoff de fam. Ferron.
Het is verschillende keren verwoest en de corpussen beschadigd. In 2002 is het negentiende- eeuwse oude corpus dat geheel uit lood gegoten was en eraf
gehaald en later teruggevonden in Duits Lemiers met afgebroken armen. Guus Herbergs heeft het weer hersteld.
Het originele corpus is op een nieuw houten kruis geplaatst bij de Bungartshof. In 2006 is het gehele kruis van eikenhout vernieuwd en op zondag 22 okt.
ingezegend door pastoor van de Sint Petruskerk te Orsbach. Het nieuwe kruis is gemaakt door kunstenaar Gottfrid Walther uit Orsbach.
Het corpus wordt afgebeeld als "de Christus met de Glimlach".
