Description

Het Romaanse aquaduct is het op één na langste van het land.

De Spaanse versie van het tijdschrift National Geographic beschouwde het als het op twee na mooiste aquaduct ter wereld. Het werd in 1626 ontworpen om het klooster van Santa Clara van water te voorzien en werd in 1714 voltooid. Er wordt gezegd dat het oorspronkelijk 999 bogen had en een lengte van ongeveer 7 kilometer.
