Walden Pond is een 31 meter diep meer in Concord in de Verenigde Staten. Het bestrijkt 25 hectare in oppervlakte en heeft een omtrek van 2,7 km. Het meer is een bekend voorbeeld van een doodijsgat, dat werd gevormd door terugtrekkende gletsjers, 10.000 tot 12.000 jaar geleden.
De schrijver, transcendentalist en filosoof Henry David Thoreau woonde twee jaar lang in een hut op de noordelijke oever van het meer vanaf de zomer van 1845. Zijn ervaringen schreef hij op in het boek Walden; or, Life in the Woods, waardoor het meer nu wereldberoemd is.
