De Vaticaanse Bibliotheek, de Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, is de nationale bibliotheek van de Heilige Stoel, het Vaticaan, gevestigd in Vaticaanstad.
Paus Nicolaas V verklaarde op 30 april 1451 dat pro communi doctorum virorum commodo, in het algemeen belang van de geleerden, er een bibliotheek moest worden opgericht.
