Hier stond het Colegio de Santa Rosa de Lima. De school was voor meisjes en had tot 500 leerlingen, die tot het baccalaureaatsniveau studeerden. Het gebouw werd gebouwd in de 18e eeuw.
Hoewel het een gebouw uit vorige eeuwen is, stamt de gevel uit 1912. De decoratie van de gevel is historistisch (neogotisch), zoals te zien is aan de bogen en het kantwerk. Aan de ene kant staat op een sokkel de heilige Dominicus van Guzmán, een symbool van de Dominicaanse orde.
Het herbergt momenteel gemeentelijke kantoren, waarvan het belangrijkste het Gemeentearchief is, het oudste en meest uitgebreide op het gebied van historische documenten op de Canarische Eilanden.
