Cycling across borders with this euro-regional cycle route, which combines the Heuvelland cycling route, RAVeL 39/38 and the Maas route into a beautiful loop of 120 km through the Dutch Heuvelland, the land of Herve, and along the banks of the Meuse in Liège and Maastricht.

Start at Sint-Pietersberg in Maastricht and in 41.1 kilometers reach the other side of the Dutch Heuvelland: Vaalserberg. Here, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Vaals meet at the three-country point, and you can take the RAVeL 39/38 towards Liège (50 km). Through the land of Herve with its meadows and orchards, you cycle along the old railway routes 39 and 38 to Liège.

From Liège, you cycle part of the Maas route back to Sint-Pietersberg in Maastricht. In the 34 km between Liège and Maastricht, you cycle along the banks of the Meuse, discovering the passage of Caestert and the lock system of Lanaye.
