Start of the route from Midden-Twente (Hengelo) towards Noord-Twente and a piece of the German outback, a great start to this route is from the Hotel v.d. Valk in Hengelo/Borne located on the A1 motorway. From Almelo-Mariaparochie, the route leads towards Langeveen Germany and you will ultimately return to Ootmarsum (NL) via Neuenhaus, Lage. The route often follows the outskirts and goes through cozy places, perfect for a stop for lunch or coffee with apple pie. Especially Ootmarsum is known for its cozy terraces, but also for its culture!
