Reconstruction of the route followed by Queen Christina of Sweden in 1654-1655 during her conversion-journey from Stockholm to Rome. Stage 1: Stockholm - Helsingborg. 12 June - 27 June 1654 (Julian calendar). Speed: 622 km / 15 days = 41,5 km / day.
NB. The first part of this stage (Stockholm - Södertälje) follows the E20. Generally the Via Christina deviates from motorways. However sometimes, especially near big cities, it is hardly possible to find good alternatives. Moreover in these areas historic routes fall together more often with highways.
