Bei einem der bekanntesten Überfälle in Schweden, genau hier, gelang es ihm, die Geiseln vollständig davon zu überzeugen, ihm zu vertrauen, ihn zu unterstützen und ihn zu beschützen. Das war am 23. August 1973 in der Sveriges Kreditbanken am schicken Norrmalmstorg Platz. Clark Olofsson wurde auch in der Netflix-Serie Clark unsterblich gemacht.
