The beach is located at the end of Chemin des Graniers , just below the Citadel and after the Cimetière Marin , about a 10-minute walk from Place des Lices and the harbour.
It's a natural bay with sand and small pebbles , mostly surrounded by vegetation. The water is crystal clear and often sheltered from the wind. In some areas , it features rocks and small, unspoiled coves (criques) that invite you to snorkel and explore. The spot retains a wild charm , free from beach clubs and mass tourism. However, in high season, it can get very crowded due to limited capacity (approximately 80 meters of beach).
The bay is photographically stunning at sunrise or sunset , with soft tones, light reflections and a wild coastline creating a romantic atmosphere.
