This town was the birthplace in 1873 of the painter Henri Loux, who is best known for the decorations on a famous Alsatian dinner service, known as "Obernai"
Go past the school, the artist's birthplace, and continue to the Moder. Take a moment to soak up the tranquility of the place. The typical fishermen's boats, which are moored to the bank, let the water flow quietly under their flat bottom. This scenery undoubtedly inspired the paintings of the local artist
