The Ringdijk is an extension of the Linnaeuskade and frames the old Watergraafsmeer. It is now an important cycling route to IJburg.
At the end of the 20th century, this was still a real rural area, now there are a few disproportionately large residential buildings on it. We walk past the Kea tower, more than 150 private sector rental homes, completed in 2016, Samos, also known as the Twins, completed in 2012, a complex with 87 homes, clad with Brazilian frames, and Milos, at the bottom of the dike, with 108 homes and a second soundproof skin of glass panels as facets of a prism.
