Al pie del castillo de los duques de Gesvres, diseñado por el arquitecto Salomon de Brosse, que hoy alberga el Museo de la Cooperación Franco-Americana, los Jardines del Nuevo Mundo ofrecen una selección de flores y arbustos del continente americano. Se encuentran especies americanas raras junto a plantas comunes aclimatadas a nuestras regiones, cuyo origen americano se ha olvidado a menudo.
Únicos en Francia, estos jardines fueron diseñados por iniciativa de los "Amigos americanos de Blérancourt", que confiaron su creación a dos paisajistas, uno americano y otro francés.
