Il monastero di San Giovanni delle Abadesse, è un antico monastero situato nella località di San Giovanni delle Abadesse nella comarca catalana del Ripollés. Fino all'anno 945 fu l'unico monastero femminile della Catalogna.
Il monastero, conosciuto nei suoi origini come San Giovanni di Ripoll o San Giovanni di Ter, fu fondato attorno all'885 dal conte Wifredo il Velloso e destinato a sua figlia Emma. Wifredo aveva fatto qualcosa di simile alcuni anni prima fondando il Monastero di Santa Maria di Ripoll, che lasciò nelle mani di suo figlio Radulfo.
