Het strand van Gialova is zeer geschikt voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen. De baai houdt de grote Ionische golven buiten. En op de meeste plaatsen is het water vrij ondiep. Ouders kunnen genieten van een maaltijd of een drankje terwijl ze slechts enkele stappen verwijderd zijn van hun spelende kinderen op het strand. U kunt hier een aantal leuke en eenvoudige familie hotels vinden. Er zijn tevens een paar campings in de buurt.
