I det 17. århundrede blev Pellenberg en baroni. I 1781 blev stenvejen mellem Leuven og Diest færdiggjort, som også gik gennem Lubbeek, og hvor sognet Sint-Bernard ville opstå. Under Tiendaagse Veldtocht blev der også kæmpet i Lubbeek, og i Pellenberg blev våbenstilstandsforliget til sidst underskrevet, som satte en stopper for denne felttog.
