Stræk benene lidt i naturområdet Rotersmeers, et ekstra stillested langs jagstien mellem Kortrijk og Bissegem. Respekter naturen og brug kun de afmærkede stier. I marken stod der engang hampkappel på tørre efter rødning, deraf navnet Rotersmeers. Ved 'rødning' udsættes hørstænglerne for vand, hvormed fibrene frigøres og kan bruges til tekstilindustrien.
