These 2 dovecotes have been in the Jardin de la reine since 1954. They give the park the appearance of a Japanese garden.
They were mounted on poles to avoid rats . In 2015 they were dismantled and restored by the Val-Itma school. They found their place in the middle of the pond.
In addition to pigeons, you will encounter many ducks around the pond. An aerator foams in the middle to provide the water with oxygen for the fish. The water in the pond comes from the Scheldt , which flows right next to the park.
