The Consistorial Palace of Cartagena, also known as the Town Hall of Cartagena, is one of the main modernist buildings in the city of Cartagena, designed by the Valladolid architect, Tomás Rico Valarino.
Due to the boom that the city experienced in the early 20th century, the old town hall, of Herrerian style, from the 16th century, had become too small, which is why in 1900 construction of the new town hall began on the site of the old one, with work finishing in 1907.
