The villa was built as an elegant residence for the Rubino family, a family of industrialists from Biella active in the production of agricultural and artisanal tools. The construction work was completed in the 1920s.
The villa is located in the Croce Serra area within the municipality of Andrate at an altitude of about 915 meters. It offers a panoramic view of the morainic amphitheater of Ivrea.
