Zuid-Beijerland è un comune nei Paesi Bassi, situato nella provincia di Holm. Zuid-Beijerland è stato fondato nel 1631, quando le terre di De Hitsert furono bonificate come parte della Grande Polder di Zuid-Beijerland. Sulla diga è sorto il comune omonimo. Nel 1673 il comune ebbe un proprio pastore. Allora fu chiamato Zuid-Beijerland, ma alcuni abitanti si riferiscono ancora al loro comune come De Hitsert. Fino al 1984, Zuid-Beijerland era un comune autonomo; dal 1984 al 2019 è stato sotto il comune di Korendijk e dal 1 gennaio 2019 appartiene al comune di Hoeksche Waard.
