This route owes its name to the father of the well-known writer Herman Teirlinck: the heem- and literary scholar Isidoor Teirlinck from Zegelsem. This is one of the boroughs of Brakel, a springed and wooded municipality in the extreme south of our province. We are here in the region of the geutelingen, a kind of thick pancakes, poured on the base plate of a white-hot oven. The course is hilly, with some hefty calf biters from the Tour of Flanders.
