Durante questa escursione di media difficoltà, puoi timbrare tre timbri della Harzer Wandernadel nel tuo passaporto dei timbri e fare anche un bellissimo tour attraverso le foreste dell'Harz. Partirai dalla Hammerschmiede/Hercynian Distilling Co. Proseguirai lungo l'Elsbach fino alla Stiefmutter (timbro 64), poi alla Schwangeren Jungfer e alla Wendeleiche (timbro 165). Dopo il secondo timbro, passerai accanto alla Zankecke e al lungo monte fino al punto di raccolta Roter Schuß (timbro 90). Da qui il sentiero prosegue oltre la Wegspinne e il Kuhtalskopf/Pfaffenborn tornando nuovamente alla Stiefmutter. Da quel punto il percorso di ritorno è lo stesso dell'andata. Secondo il percorso della escursione, si consiglia di prendere il percorso di ritorno attraverso il timbro speciale "Zweiländereiche".
