Kernkraftværket Stade blev drevet fra 1972 til 2003 i Stadersand nær Skwingemundingen ved Elben. Det var det første atomkraftværk i Tyskland, der blev lukket efter udfasningen af atomkraft, og befinder sig i øjeblikket i afvikling. KKS ligger på den sydlige bred af Underelbe i området af hansestaden Stade i Niedersachsen, cirka 30 km vest for Hamburg og ved siden af det også lukkede og allerede afviklede olie-drevne kraftværk Schilling. Det var udstyret med en letvandsmodereret trykvandreaktor.
