A sinistra si trovano "Le Cave di Argilla". Questa area naturale di oltre 4 ettari faceva parte di una cava d'argilla che si estendeva più a sud-ovest. I depositi di argilla qui erano piuttosto poco profondi per l'estrazione e la lavorazione in mattoni. L'alta ciminiera è ancora testimone di questa precedente attività industriale. Resta una cava spoglia, ampia e profonda con pareti ripide a diversi livelli: la natura poteva iniziare un processo di riconquista. La gestione educativa e storico-naturale dell'area è pianificata dai decisori e dalle associazioni ambientaliste locali. Negli ultimi anni il comune ha acquistato alcuni appezzamenti. Su quei terreni sono stati piantati alberi che formano un corridoio verde con sentieri e un bosco giochi tra le Cave di Argilla e il Boschetto delle Stelle. Questo giovane "bosco suburbano" è liberamente accessibile ai passeggiatori.
