Sul lato sinistro del Largo da República do Brasil vediamo una piccola piazza con una fontana, costruita nel 1856, con due cannelle e semplici ornamenti.
Dietro c'è un serbatoio pubblico comunitario, fatto di granito . Fu costruito per offrire migliori condizioni agli abitanti della zona e la sua costruzione terminò anch'essa nel 1856. Proprio accanto al luogo in cui scorre il fiume Selho , che scorre sotto il giardino verso la Zona de Couros.
Oggi la funzione è puramente decorativa.
