La A140 es una carretera de 'clase A' en Norfolk y Suffolk, East Anglia, Inglaterra, que sigue en parte la ruta de la antigua Vía Pye. Se extiende desde la A14 cerca de Needham Market hasta la A149 al sur de Cromer. Tiene un estatus primario a lo largo de toda su ruta. Tiene aproximadamente 56 millas de longitud.
La carretera comienza como vía de doble sentido desde la intersección 51 con la A14; luego viaja hacia el norte hasta su intersección con la A1120. Luego continúa hacia el campo de Suffolk, proporcionando acceso a las aldeas de Little Stonham, Mendlesham y Mendlesham Green. Pasa por Brockford Street, Thwaite, Stoke Ash, Thornham Parva, Yaxley y Brome, donde se encuentra con su intersección con la B1077. Una milla más tarde, llega a una rotonda con la A143, donde entra en Norfolk y se convierte en vía de doble sentido, y una segunda fuera de Scole la conecta con la A1066. Este tramo de carretera rodea Scole al este de Diss.
