Durbuy is one of the most famous holiday spots in the tourist Ardennes and likes to call itself the smallest town in the world. It is located in the northwest of the province of Luxembourg, along a beautiful stretch of the Middle Ourthe. It is dominated by a castle (which cannot be visited) and one of the most beautiful folded rocks in the country. Le Vieux Durbuy, the old part of the town, has been preserved in an exemplary manner and is worth strolling through. But the surrounding area, a transitional zone between Condroz and the Ardennes, is also an attractive hiking area.
