Oederquart è un comune della Bassa Sassonia nel nord della contea di Stade. Fa parte della Samtgemeinde Nordkehdingen.
Dal punto di vista storico, il passato del luogo può essere suddiviso in tre periodi. Dopo il periodo dei Chauken o Sassoni, Oederquart divenne meta della colonizzazione olandese del XII secolo, così come della cosiddetta colonizzazione delle terre bagnate e paludose degli ultimi secoli.
