La Catedral de Nostra Senyora forma part del Patrimoni Mundial de la UNESCO des de l'any 2000.
La rosassa amb vitralls de la façana oest, amb un diàmetre de 7 metres, crida l'atenció. Es troba a la nau romànica i dóna al gran orgue.
Originàriament la façana de ponent tenia dos portals al costat de l'altre. Cap al 1170, ambdós portals es van unir sota un arc apuntat. Presumiblement perquè l'interior de l'església cap al costat oest es considerava massa fosc , l'any 1526 s'hi va afegir una gran finestra gòtica. Al segle XIX , quan va esclatar la restauració desenfrenada per tot Europa, aquesta finestra va ser tancada i substituïda per una gran rosassa. Un s'adona que la façana oest actual té poc en comú amb l'original .
