A Nieuwvliet hi ha una ruta a peu de 7,7 km accessible per als usuaris de cadira de rodes i caminants.

D'aquesta manera, les persones amb discapacitat poden endinsar-se fàcilment a la bella natura d'Oostkamp i gaudir del plaer de caminar sense preocupacions. Aquesta ruta s'ha creat gràcies a la col·laboració del Consell de Persones amb Discapacitat i l'entitat sense ànim de lucre.

Els bonics Nieuwenhovebos i Domein Erkegem van ser escollits. El recorregut, adaptat a les necessitats dels usuaris de les rodes, comença i acaba a Welzijns Schakel Nieuwvliet (Lieven Gevaertplein 4).

La ruta també és ideal per a persones amb cotxets.
