L'escola dels Annales és un grup d'historiadors associats amb un estil d'historiografia desenvolupada per historiadors francesos al segle XX en la història social. Rep el nom de la seva revista Annales d'histoire économique et sociale, que continua sent la font principal del corrent historiogràfic, juntament amb un gran nombre de llibres i monografies. Aquesta escola ha estat molt influent a França i en nombrosos altres països, incloent-hi els Països Catalans.
